I have a 1997 Ford 7.3 Power Stroke with 250 K of faithful service on the odometer. I use it to pull a 30' 5th wheel when we head South for the winter.
Last spring when we come home I noticed a pretty messy oil leak. I have cleaned it up and found it is coming from the front of the 2" diameter connecting tube that goes between the the housing that holds the oil filter and the housing on the other end that bolts to the forward side of the block.
Does anyone know what this tube is called and if it has o rings or bushings that can be replaced?
sounds like the oil cooler to me. idk much about them but i do know u can get them off ebay and you can upgrade to the E series cooler. i believe its just bigger.
