No Brake Lights
I just bought an 01 CC F250 Lb 4wd. I been trollin on here fora while and now I have a prob. worth postin bout. I bought the trailer brake controler today for and when I dropped the panel to plug it up I noticed the previous owner did not take a sec to unplugg it from the fac. ford connector and they just cut the wires. I got all that worked out and hooked up to the 5'ver to test things out and have no brake lights and the controller does not light up like its suppose to. Checked every fuse in the truck including the relays and pulled the bulbs and they are fine also. I have running lights and thats it. I was

Does your truck have the fuse box under the hood also. Have you checked for power at the plug in the rear of the truck? On my truck I have to wiggle the connection at the back of the plug if I hit too many bumps.

Thanks for the diagram PSD but the prob. I am runnin into now is the truck does not have brake lights either. I stopped workin on my trailer lights once I discovered the truck brake lights were not workin. I checked all my fuses with a hand held volt meter and the ones that had to do with the lights I took them out and inspected them.
