Blown engine, carnage pictures.

Ok, i climbed under the truck this evening, and took some pics. It looks like the third set of rods on the crank (cylinders 5&6) made the damage, but im not sure yet. Take a look at the pics... start here and go forward.

Passenger side looking forward pictures from friends & fun photos on webshots

Quit climbing under the truck until the Dr says it's ok, but thanks for the pics.

Oh Kris, you whiney bitch. Are you still carrying on about blowing up your powerless engine?

J/K, a bit of humor here. Let me have my first look at the pics. Still smarting from lack of notification bro. My feelings were hurt. I'm over it now.

It's all good Kris. My cell is still the same as 2 1/2 years ago. It's off now. Anyway, those rods are total garbage. Look at how they failed, and just came apart.

I will be honest and say I cannot make out much from the under truck shots. This is not surprising. It was tough as he!! seeing what Jeremy had and I saw it firsthand, let alone taking a pic. Just a mess.

I think a little JB weld, or mighty putty will do the trick.

Ive decided not to use the Kwik version of the JB weld, i dont want to compromise strength here. It takes 24 hours to cure, and then it should be back up and running again, LOL

Yeah, actually my girlfriend was almost in tears because she was so scared at the noise it made, almost like a gunshot when it initially blew and a few more very loud knocks and bangs. I could defanitely hear a rod spinning around greeting a bunch of internal parts. Oil, and water too. Im glad i got my truck out of that parking lot when i did instead of bringing a trailer the next day, because someone would have called the cops, i could have gotten cited for polluting. You all know how "illegal" it is to pour oil and antifreeze down the drain. Well i put about 4 gallons of each on the side of the road in the curb... There was an easy trail to spot from where the oil puddle was to where my truck was...
