Hi everyone,
I'm planning on putting a 300 I 6 and a four speed muanual from an 84 into my 89 f150 with a 302 and auto tranny. Any input/advice is greatly appreciated.
It depends on what you use the truck for. You're really not giving much detail at all. More details helps people help you.
If you're keeping the carb, you'll need to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to bring the pressure down to 5 to 7 psi. The EFI fuel system puts out about 60 psi.

I'm gonna eliminate both fuel pumps and run a line right to the front tank. I will also be eliminating the rear tank.
or would it be smarter to use the pumps?
I'll be using this truck for work around the farm. Maybe do some pulling with it every now and then, but not to often. I won't be taking this one out on the trails. The most 4byin it'll get is when the snow comes.
