i lost all my computer settings in my 01 lightning. a wiring harness got burnt up and all my programming was lost. i have since installed the stock tune back into the truck. i have a diablo programmer for it. i am running 16lb. of boost, 60lb. injectors, with a whole lot more extras. just need an idea of what my fuel, shift points, and other settings should be at. i did not build this truck. i bought from a guy and he did all the upgrading hisself. he has since moved and i no longer can contact him. NEED HELP.
Did the handheld flash tuner lose the tune? The Predator should still have the custom tune saved on the handheld. If not, don't mess with it yourself. Just the fact that you're asking here about fuel curves, timing, shift points, load, etc means you don't know enough to tune the truck, especially when the truck is pushing 16lbs of boost.
Get a hold of a person who can tune your truck like JJ at WMS, Rick at Amazon, JLP, JDM, Troyer, etc and give them the specifics of your truck and they'll get you a safe tune via email.
first you should have a tune om your diablo hand held. to get the best tune find a local speed shop in your area that has a dyno that can be used to tune your truck. the engine is about 9000.00 $ to replace. not having a dyno tune will hurry the process of engine destruction look. up nlock.com and you will find your local lighting owners club and ask them they will put you on the money,
Tune on the Diablo is useless. Its locked to a PCM which had the tune, its going to refuse to recognise even the same the PCM as the same one because it doesn't hold the tune state the tuner is expecting. The Predator is now an expensive paperweight. Diablo can unlock it but they will charge you for it. Do not drive this truck at all, even mildly, until you get the tune back in it. Its a ticking time bomb running the stock tune.
