back space!
i have a 97' f-350 powerstroke 4x4 iwant to put 33" tires on and get after market wheels. i'm concerned about rubbing my front leaf springs. what amount of back space am i going to need so i will never have to worry about this? also will i need any lift perhaps 2" blocks or add a leafs? any info will be helpfull.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 17-Oct-02 AT 01:15 PM (EST)]I have ran 36 inch Swampers and 36 inch Buck Shots since my 97 had 400 miles on it with no lift ,with the stock rims, just had a shimmed front bumper. 2 weeks ago at 120,000 miles I just added the reverse shackle kit that raised the truck about 2 1/2 inches. And put the bumper back to the stock location.
As far as the tires rubbing on the leaf springs it does happen on a lock to lock but it does not bother me . Plus my wife even drives it with no problems.
