Just bought a new Taurus!
My wife and I bought a new 08 Taurus. This car is unbelievable! The more we drive it, the more impressed I am. The 3.5l engine really gets up and goes and you can't even feel the tranny shift. This is just an amazing product from Ford. I would recommend this car to anyone.

The 500 was renamed the Taurus. It is greatly improved with a much better engine and transmission. I have a friend that has one and loves it. It comes very well equipped in the base version (even keyless entry).

We have an '08 Taurus, also. We are very happy with it. It replaced an almost identical '05 Five Hundred that ended it's life by cutting down a 20 foot Blue Spruce with the right front door. We liked the Five Hundred so much that our only choice after it was totalled was to get the identical car again.

As a side note, what is it with fender vents? Did we just jump back to the 20s? Buick's going and slapping portholes on everything, Ford's venting their cars and trucks to death........
