toyman.. thanks for the response. The truck looks great.. that's exactly what I want. I just want to confirm something.. you are running 325/60/18 or 325/65/18? In my gallery you can see that I am currently running 325/60/18 baja claws on 10" wheels and they rub at full lock.. too wide a wheel. I didn't know you could mount 325/60/18 on factory 8"wide wheels... that's great to hear. if you have any more pictures you could send I would really appreciate it.. thanks again for the feedback.
I was thinking about the 305/70/18 in the MTZ, seems like a good tire size and not too wide. I'm wanting a taller tire which does well on the highway and isn't so wide that I need to put flares on to keep my truck clean.
cartmanea,
same thought here.. except if I could mount 325/65/18 on stock wheels the stock width and offset would bring them under quite a bit.. I dunno.. I'm just tired of my truck being all dirty by the time I get out of my driveway.. decisions.. decisions..
I think I am going to get a set for the other truck next summer, it's between that and the Dick Cepek radial fun country.
Toyman
I've got a set of the Dick Cepek FCII Radials (37x13.50x16 - I forget the metric conversion) and I'm having a terrible time balancing them. Granted they are large tires, the minor bouncing is frustrating (@ 45mph). They are on 16x10 welds (gallery). I love the way they look, and they are wearing good. Give & take I guess.
I ran 325-65-18 Terra's on a stock 350 wheel. Still had minor rub at full lock, but only in reverse.
I went with a smaller tire this time because I got a steal of a deal, however, they look lost on my truck and I'll be going back to the 325's when these wear.
