Extreme AT vs Baja ATZ - opinions needed

Is anyone running Procomp Extreme AT's? how do you like them? I am trying to decide between Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 305/70/R18 and Extreme AT's 35x12.5R18. I am interested in finding out how they have lasted, noise, overall opinion of each. If anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate it.

I have the Extreme A/Ts, 35X12.5X16s, one tear old, no flats, good traction, 25k so far, atleast 15k left. They are fairly quiet for the particular tread pattern. Way better traction than the BF A/Ts i was running. And right now www.4wheelparts.com has them buy 3 get 1 free. Can't beat that deal.

Thumbs up

I have a set of Baja ATZ and I ABSOLUTLEY love them! I put on some 325/60/18 on with no lift and there is no rubbing at all (although there might be some during full articulation) I have already put 10k miles on them and they are performing beautifully. I have also used them for off road use, aired them down to 15psi and took them on the beach. They make almost NO NOISE on the road! My father just got an 08' F-450 and his stock tires make more noise than mine. The "side biters" really make the tire look awesome and the tread does well in wet weather. The only test I haven't given them is the snow test but that is just around the corner!

To summarize: As long as I continue to get decent treadwear (so far so good with 10k) I would get these tires again without blinking.

I run the Pro Comp 35,s 13.50 on 20,s and they work great. Not noisy at all and exce llent traction even in snow. I think they come with a mileage warranty also if you check with your parts dealer the 4 for 3 sale is on about now if they are still doing it

I have had my Xtreme A/T's for almost 1 year and 25K. Tire wear is great and I expect atleast another 20-25K out of them. Performance wise I have absolutely no complaints, excel in all weather conditions, have great road manners and are quite.

As for the Baja ATZ's, I have no personal experience but have heard good things. It does not suprise me though. Like rudedogii mentioned, Pro Comp and Mickey Thompson are both Cooper brands so I would expect them to both be of comparable quality.

MY ATZ's have worn pretty well considering the road mileage I have driven the past year. I looked at the tires the other day and was surprised to see that much thread depth left on the tire. I'll be putting them back on when the weather starts changing, I'm hoping for SNOW!!!!
