Pull heads or motor?

what kind of headers bolts did they use? did the headers come with new ones or did the dealer use oem? ford has stainless steel header bolts now right? since you put headers on they usually come with bolts and hopefully were grade 8

Grade 8's were used and they came with the headers.

Hope they used anti-sieze compound on them!

I installed them and did use anti-seize. No way am I going through this again!

HI guys im replaying to this topic becouse i just replaced all my manifold studs today in my 99 f-450 it was pretty straight forward . I used torch to cut all studs flush with a exh manifold leaving me with 1/2'" stubs sticking out , i simply put nuts over them and welded them solid. 1 hour latter i had all passanger side studs replaced and manifold bolted up. Driver side was little bit more pain becouse of all the stuff in the way but also two studs broke off below the thread . Without panicking i got my 5/8 halfround tungsten bit and borred deep until hitting a stud than just filled the puddle with mig weld.
And welded nut on a top couple of gentle movements and stud was out the second one was pretty stuck it took me 6 times welding and snapping before it let go.WHOLE ORDEAL TOOK ME 9 HOURS GOOD LUCK TO ANYBODY TRAING IT
