How can this digital odometer be by passed?

Why would you wanna bypass the odometer?...LAst time I heard Odometer tampering was illegal...

Thats VERY Illegal. I would not recommend doing this at all. Odometer fraud is something that is taken very seriously anymore. Might even be legal problems if you get caught. If it were me I would not even worry about doing it and save yourself the hassle.

Wrenchboy: Should you bypass the odometer, you will cause more problems than you care to try to fix. Bypassing the odometer will: make your auto transmission shift erratic, your cruise control would not work, your abs could be affected. There are just too many operational problems, not to count the Federal Laws against this, to mess with. Yes, I know that there are a few folks that have been doing this for years, there are also a few folks doing time in a Federal Lockdown for doing this. It just ain't worth the risk.
