odometer blackout

I found this in another forum that pertains to Odometer black out I hope the link works.

This was happening to me about a year ago. It was a broken solder joint of a resistor on the leftside of the circuit board. Simple fix. Must be the same guy that soldered my FICM resistors too, also already fixed.

I now there's a lot of pages to read but the 1st page says it all.
I meet another 6.0 owner the other day we started talking about our trucks and he mentioned that his Odometer and lights keeped flickering some times it all goes blackout ,I had to help a Brother out and Post this too
