t/c lock up wire?
well i went to do this mod. this week end to while i was doing everything else. i know you guy's said it was the purple-with-yellow tracer BUT THEIRS THREE of them?? where do you tap into it at?? theirs one where the shift lever hooks onto the trany (drivers side) and there is one that goes in to the plug on the pass side, and the third goes?? its in the wireing loom??

I would say the easiest thing for you to do would to be to trace the wire from the tranny and either tap into it there or follow it up into the wiring harness up above the drivers side fender well. I believe the one you want is in the bottom right block out of the 4 wiring blocks there..someone may come and correct me on that but I belive they are labeled 12

As stated above, But my comment, There are 4 connectors under you air cleaner box. The forward one is grey. I unplugged that one and let it drop out the bottom. Crawled under and pulled out the red tab and slipped out #6 (Purple with yellow trace) Tapped it up and plugged the grey connector back in. Went for a drive to make sure i have the right wire. Yup, That was it and the wire i used. With that pulled out of the connector the tranny shifted hard due to the wire being disconnected. But the TC didn't lock which was my test.
