I installed my clearence lights last Sunday. I measured about 100 times and drilled once. Pics in gallery. Its a good idea to make a template. Once you get past the first hole it's a breeze. Best of luck!!

Brandon, if I'm ever in Alabama or you make it up to Colorado, I'll lean on you for helping me installing a set.

Check my tech gallery and read motoman's stuff. It isn't too hard. I had to have my neighbor drill the holes. I just couldn't do it. We used a uni bit. Worked great.

Steve, I am gonna be straight up honest with ya......... I dont plan on being able to drill a straight hole at TS, and plus you need to get this done before then, it really is simple. The hardest part is just starting the job.
I did not use a drift or center punch when I did mine, I used a sharpie and outlined all the bases (after I had it all measured) and then drilled the holes for the wiring to go through ( my truck is red so I used a red sharpie) the wiring is simple, Brown = +, Black = -. You will find a brown(running light positive) wire under the kick panel by the pax door ( solid brown wire is the universal color for running lights /parking lights in most vehicles)

If you want to come over and make a saturday of it, we can do your cab lights, and some other things if you want. I am full up until after Nov 8th with Cheerleading competitions (my two daughters each have games and competitions on Saturdays until then) but after that we can find a good weekend. I am about 70 miles from Tuscaloosa, straight down 82.
