Engine running "hot" problem

Hi,
Well... I thought I would finish this up and tell what I believe was the problem. I noticed my anti-freeze fluid was really dark. Not dirty,but very rich so to speak,so I changed it out with some new fluid at a 50-50 mix and now my temp guage is running "normal"! I guess for the past couple of years I was adding staight fluid and it eventually took over so to speak and there was"nt enough water to transfer the heat from the engine to radiator! Thanks to all that helped on this!!!
