The day that never comes is a lot like Fade to Black, with a bit of Ride the Lightning towards the end, but My Apocalypse isn't that great IMO. It's too fast, Lars sounds like he's just flailing back there. Cyanide rocks. The rest of what I heard kicks some serious *** and they even are back to some great instrumentals, I will be buying it on the 12th.

Rick Rubin produced it but still crap "Metallica" Lars has that same "Snare Sound" as in the last album. Its heavy but the recording is bad there still using "Pro tools" 
For goods sake thay have millions go back to 2' inch tape and get that sound from Justice for all

Bob Rock is the worst thing to ever happen to Metallica, the way I see it. While I do enjoy the hell out of Black, the rest are festering piles all created under his watch. Bring me Flemming Rasmussen (RtL, MoP, AJfA)!!

i agree in a way....slipknot is one of the few newer bands i can tolerate,i cant stand this new metal,they have to have a singer and a screamer
