As far as I'm concerned Metallica peaked when "Master of Puppets" came out in 86. Justice was great but I think it drained every bit of creativity they had left....I miss the rawness they had back in the early 80's.
I think I will buy the new Slip Knot before I would buy Metallica....seems like they can still hammer out good tunes on a consistant basis.

Dimebag with Pantera was one of my fav's....Phil and Down have some great sounds especially with Pepper Keanan in the line-up.
Here is a link so you guys can listen to some of their songs. U can only listen to like 30 seconds of each song. I have some of them downloaded and some of the songs a good and some really arent. Cynade, the end of the line, the day that never comes are good songs.
So did anyone else get the CD? The whole thing kicks ***, I love the instrumentals on it. The cover is pretty cool too, it's the coffin with the magnetic lines, but it's 3D.
