Light question

on our xl the overhead light will come on when we have the passenger door open but when the passenger door is closed and the driver door is open the light will not be on.?

Spray the inside latches with WD-40 very good. This is a common problem and this fixes it more often then not.

And then make sure to close them and open them 30 times, spray some more, etc

My overhead lights come on weather its the driver or passenger side is open, bad door switch maybe???? If not, Bump......

wait what? It should come on when any door is opened... A bad door switch will cause the lights not to come on.

There is a timer on the lights so even if you leave the door open, the interior lights will still go off after a time. If the door switch is bad, the lights will stay on until the timer times out or you start driving and hit around 20 MPH and then they will turn off as well. Had this happen and the WD-40 fixed it.
