last time i was offroad, I went to put it into 4-low, and no dice. My 4x4 works, and i have never had to use the 4-low before. I was in drive, and im just wondering if it is somthing in my Transfer case, or if i need to have it in first or 2nd gear.
Did the light on the dash light up or not? You should see the 4x4 light on and LOW RANGE light next to it. If LOW RANGE was not lit then you were not in 4 low. You have to stop the truck and the tranny must be in neutral. Hope this helps ya.
I had the Tranny in Drive. Since i have the push button on the Dash, Do i still haave to be in neutral to go into 4low? Or do i need to just be in 4x4?

Need to be in 4x4 first- put in neutral, and then push 4x4 low range. Getting out of 4x4 low range- put in neutral, then push 4x4 low range.
to get to 4low you have to be in neutral
STOPPED with the foot on the brake.
to get out of 4low you have to... you guessed it.
Be in Neutral Stopped with foot on the brake.
