I am curious about what options Ford has for an 04 f350 6.0 with 57000 on it. I am still in the 5yr -100K but would like to investigate longer plans due to the low amount of miles on the vehicle. It is a good vehicle yet and wouldn't mind driving it for a couple more years after it is paid off. (would be nice to take a break on making payments as well)
I inquired at the local dealership and did not have a lot of conifidence that they had all of the information that may be available.
If no Ford plans exist, what are some other options that a person can look into.
If you research the subjest on here, there will be several posts. One will have the 13 point plan you can buy at this point. Cheapest most likely is from Packey Webb Ford, around $1360. You can google them to get their phone number, I don't have it now.
It would have been MUCH cheaper if you had renewed BEFORE your 3 year/36,000 expired! That said, I don't think I'd gamble with ANY aftermarket deal now. Just stick some money in the bank and hope like hell you won't need it!
Quoted to 1420 bucks directly from ford for a 2005 with 45000 miles on it, I'm looking to purchase next week. That covers turbo, heads, ECM injectors, just the standard, not the plus plan. Don't think it covers tranny either.

I think there is only a $100 penalty for getting the "Standard" Ford PowerStroke Diesel Engine Care Plan (7 Years/200K Miles) after your 3/36 has expired as long as you do it before the 5/100 has expired.
I just had the "Plus" version of the 7/200 plan added today to my 05 with 84k miles on it. I got mine for free from Ford, but that is a long story.
I to am looking for an extended warranty. I've got an 06 with 46k on it, just bought it and the guy I bought it from didn't know if it had a 5/60 or 5/100 limited power train warranty. How could I find that out? Thanks for the help.
I bought my 03 back in Feb of 07...it had 34K on it then. Since it was my first diesel, I shelled out 1400 bucks for a bumper to bumper that was good til 75K miles.
It's Sept 08, the truck has 77K miles on it...and I wasted that 1400 bucks....nothing has gone wrong!
I just got quoted for 2100 for the plus plan I believe (top plan) and it does not cover the turbo but everything else. 7 yr or 100,000 miles so since I am at 39,000 I would have a warranty until 139,000. Not sure if its worth it.
It's 7 years from the date the truck was placed into service, or 200K miles which ever comes first.
I've been doing some looking to. I've recieved an online quote from Ford for $1420 for this plan, with a $0 deductable. You also get roadside etc. with it. I have it in writing in an email, if you'd like me to forward it to you, just post your email.
I think you have until 5yrs / 100K miles to purchase as well at the same price, I believe, that's my last question to ford at this time.
