Rearview mirror replacement
My rearview mirror is toast. Is there a replacement that does not have that automatic feature? I never did like that feature. It worked, but it was weak.

I recently installed a rear view camera on my Ex...and used a auto-dimming mirror from MGT Motorspots that has the monitor as well. I was so pleased with this Gentex mirror that I got just the self-dimming mirror for my Cobra. Now, I cannot imagine being without the auto dimming mirror.
The mirror with just auto dimming was not expensive and works great.
I still have the Excursion's original, non-dimming mirror that I'd part with. Make me an offer with shipping if your interested.

My mirror was crapping out too, so I got one of those wide-angle panoramic types from Autosport that just clips over it - it's awesome, I can see the entire inside of the vehicle as well as outside down both sides. Like $39 bucks. I have the rear camera in my 3rd brake light that plays thru the stereo, so that issue was already resolved....and with the 08 super duty mirrors now on - I can pretty much see (and still run into) anything. Spend the $39, it's awesome if you don't really care about the dimming feature....I don't do much driving of the X, especially at night so that means little to me.
