Has anyone used any wiring harness products from Painless (or other suppliers) to completely replace the wiring in their pickup?
I have a 1964 F100 that is a combination of the old '64, some '76 (to accomadate the electronic ignition) and homegrown... I want to just rip it all out and replace it with something more modern and with more circuits so I can put in AC, power windows, locks, etc....
I have not used any Painless products, but I did rewire a 1941 Pacakrd with a Ron Francis kit. I looked at Painless and others, but picked the RF because I got a fuse panel and wiring separately. In other words, I could run the wires either directions and then hook them to panel by screw down connectors. That is a lot easy than a panel that has all the wires hardwired to the panel.
