Hub Nut

Morning yall, been a while but here we go. On my 97 F-250 4x4 5.4 w/ the 7 lugs I tried changing the wheel bearing in the front driver side last weekend. I got all the way down to breaking that I believe 35mm nut free and there was not a prayer. I tried blaster, liquid wrench and everything. Broke one ratchet and a breaker bar smooth off at the head. I have heard to use an impact wrench...which i agree..but another fella told me to heat it up and not to use an impact socket..if its that tight the impact could round it over and then im really screwed. What do you all think is my best route and furthermore what is the torque on that nut i know its not no 7000 ft/tons like they must have done.

Looks like the torque has a wide range to choose from:

As for getting the nut off, I have always used the gun and cranked the air up.

Impact would be the way to go.. you shouldnt have any problems rounding the nut as long as you use the correct size impact socket.
