getting another inch....

is there any way to rise my truck another inch or so? I already have a leveling kit that replaced my front springs and i also have 350 blocks in the back. I am looking to do this with out busting my bank...haha i still want to get a chip and an intake.

I did the same lift as you and had the same dilema. I wanted just a bit more lift in the back. I installed Hellwig air bags for $308. Did the trick and then some. It was quite easy. A couple of wrenches, 2 hours and 1 beer.

2 hrs and 1 beer? Are you sure you followed the directions?

Add-a-leaf up front will get you where you want.

I would think the add-a-leaf would work with the aftermarket spring packs but maybe not. If you have metal fab tools, you could make yourself some 1" longer shackles for the front springs, or better yet shackles and spring perches for the front springs.

Shackles up front and a taller block in back. Problem is you'll be getting to the point where a drop pitman arm and trac bar bracket may be necessary.

For the rear just do a add-a-leaf. I just did one on mine and replaced the shocks at the same time, rides about the same as it did before.

Another option is the 1" zero rate leaf from offroaddesign, this bolts to your existing leaf pack front or rear. However unlike a add a leaf it will not stiffen up your ride and gives you exactly 1 additional inch of lift. Because this bolts to your leafpack you could use this in the rear with your existing block and you wouldn't be stacking blocks. Some people have cautioned against this in the front because they argue it is only a block that it bolted. If you share this concern then 1" from a shackle would also work. The zero rates are $ 40 bucks and probably your cheapest option. Ford also sells a 1" shim that was designed to correct the superduty lean but that runs alot more $. Interestingly they show the shim being placed under an existing block so Ford is technically stacking blocks. Good luck.
