lossing boost?
For some time now i have noticed i have always had high EGT's and Low boost numbers. i have a dp and only get aroung 17lbs and have always jumped up to 1250 degrees in a split second pulling nothing on a stock level. Here lately i have noticed a whining noise when i let off the accelerator would that be a leak or something else?

That sound you're hearing when you let off the go pedal is most likely the boost shooting back out through the filter. The more boost, the louder the woosh. I'd start by checking the up pipe connection on the turbo. This is where the pipes from the left and right exhaust manifold come together and run into the back of the turbo. They're know to leak due to bad design. An exhaust leak will show up as a nice black streak of soot. The picture below is an example of the donut seals leaking on an E series diesel courtesy of Dan (kwikkordead). You can see the black on the drivers side up pipe right before it comes in to the y-pipe.
