E-350 turn signals

1999 (maybe 98) E-350 motorhome.

I was flat towing my wrangler and the aux lighting wires got pinched by the towbar and shorted the turn signals. Now the brake lights and rear turn signals are inoperative and the front signals come on and flash quickly.

I bought a Haynes manual on the road, but the wiring info is inadequate. It described where the flasher is located but it is not there. My fuse panel has no legend on it, so I checked all the fuses (under dash,) and they were good.

Anyone have an idea? The bulbs are good, fuses appear to be good. It's the same, left and right.

I am getting ready to travel again and have too much to do so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bruce

Looking at the 99 diagram, there should have been two fuses for the left and right turn on the trailer plug.
Are you saying the stop and turn does not work on the coach itself?
If so it sounds like somebody did not wire it up right in the first place.
If this is the case it sounds like you still have a short back there.
Email me and I can send you the circuit diagrams of the system for the 99 or 98.
My email address is at the bottom of my post.

Your later model also probably has a fuse box under the hood somewhere with more fuses in it.

There is a fusebox under the hood and the fuses are unmarked. No legend for either of the two fuse panels that I found. All the fuses checked good so I suspected that there might be yet another one elsewhere.

Also did not locate a flasher. (?) I bought a new one from NAPA, and it looks ordinary but it says "electronic."

And yes, the stop and rear turn signal lights do not work on the coach. And after mending the harness to the aux lights on the towed vehicle there is no voltage delivered there except for the runing/park lights.

Thanks for the help. I will email for the diagrams.

That was all 1999 E-series information, if it is a 1998 or a F53 Motorhome and the information does not match let me know and I will send you some 1998 or F53 Motorhome information.
