Marks Left From Buffing!
hello, i took my BLACK 05 f150 to a buddy to have him buff out some scratches that were on the exterior. well the scratches are gone, but i can see marks (ghost white looking) where he buffed down the side of the truck! how can this be fixed? more buffing? thanks

most likely needs swirl remover & an orbital polish job ,,,,

Soungs like swirl marks to me too, and show up like a sore thumb on a dark car in the sunlight.
Yes more buffing, you need to step down to finer polishes and pads and go over it again and remove them, instead of just using a product that will fill them and have them show up again after a few washings.
A wool pad and course compounds can leave some nasty swirls, although depending on how you run the buffer, you can minimize them.
