Lamp Socket Corrosion

Does anyone know of a trick or a tool for cleaning out the insides of lamp sockets?

How about a small wire wheel on a Dremel Tool?

Lamp Socket Corrosion

Here's a couple of things I've done that work well. "Brasso" or "Never Dull" works great if there isnt much rust. If there is rust a dremel tool works great. make sure you clean it well after you are done and put a little dielectric grease on the metal end of the blub so it doesnt corrode again.

Lamp Socket Corrosion

just go buy a new socket, they are very cheap, got one for my turn signal for less than $5.00. then wire 'em in and forget about them for another 25 years.
