edge product more than likely. I have one too. Its a piece of junk, only slightly better than superchips. If I were you, I would sell it on ebay and put it torwards a TW or a DP chip. Thats what I am going to do this tuesday..

Is that RJ45 looking thing the one just left of the ash-tray? It does look like a RJ45 connector but I think that is what holds the wire that has to be grounded to reprogram the spedo, or reprogram something.

The PSOM wire to recalibrate the speedometer is a single wire connector just below the glove box door and it's marked PSOM

yes, trailer brake plug is a horizontal plug, OBD port is a vertical plug.

Our OBD port looks just like any '96-up OBD-II connector. Eight across by two down, wider at the top than the bottom. There's also a three-pin connector with rather round male pins in a "molex" connector, further forward closer to the firewall. And then, no kidding, an RJ45, looks just like an Ethernet port. Black plastic housing. I haven't looked for the PSOM on the far right.

I'm not looking for a chip or a tuner (well, not yet anyway...). I'm just looking for a way to read PCM trouble codes, possibly read ABS / air bag trouble codes, and view real time data (fuel flow in GPH, engine temp, oil temp, pressure, etc) from the sensors. Something like a ScanGauge II for '96-up passenger cars. I see Tony has his "SCT Live Wire" product (eek, spendy!), but it's only for '96-up.

Is 1995 perchance a "red-headed stepchild" year, not OBD-I, but not fully OBD-II compatible?

Do you even have power to the data link connector? It's protected by the same fuse as the cigarette lighter #16 in the cab and it should be 15 amp.

Pin # 16 in the DLC is on the bottom row on the far right, it should have a light blue/ white wire and is supposed to be hot at all times.

Thats the first thing that came to mind, check the cigarette lighter fuse, they share the same fuse for the data link.
