I have "tweaked" these a little over the last several months, but they are not too much different now.

One change is based on feedback from Mark Kovalsky and several other sources:

The "tow/haul" light does not come on at 230 degrees on the tranny fluid.

Actually, Mark states that the tow/haul light will flash at 275. The gage moves to red at 280. This is supported on page 36 of the OBDII Theory and Operations manual).

Mark states that the tranny can get to 250 for short periods of time without damage. However - I still believe (and have been told by several) that if it gets this hot, there is something generating the heat that is not normal. My recommendation is to not excede 240 AND do not let it stay above 220 for continuous service.

It is very hard to define typical oil pressure:
The minimum engine oil pressure specifications are 82.7 kPa (12 psi) at 700 rpm, 165.5 kPa (24 psi) at 1,200 rpm and 310.3 kPa (45 psi) at 1,800 rpm with the engine at operating temperature. Low or no pressure could be caused by the oil pressure regulator, gerotor oil pump or an internal lube oil pressure leak. The oil pressure regulator opens at pressure of 75 psig to send flow back to the pump suction. The low oil pressure switch activates at 5 psi.

The HPOP pressure will range from 625psi at idle and 4045max psi with full engine load. A fast idle with no load will be abought 1450psi. This can be check via the ICP sensor port

The engine will not start until the PCM reads 500 psi from the ICP.

Great write up Mark! I have noticed that sometimes I will crank the motor and it starts almost instantaneously then there are other times it takes2 seconds.
