2008 Trans Hesitation

2008 Trans Hesitation
I have a 2008 F250 SD 4x4 with the 5.4 V8. Automatic.
At any stop when I go to take off I get a slight hesitation in
the transmission and then it like grabs and goes. When you start
off you can feel the brakes release first but then the trans stumbles a bit.
I was wondering if anyone out there has the same problem. I was told it is NORMAL for the 2008's ? Should I take it to another dealer ? Any tranny mechanics out there. I would also like to say that this forum is of great
help to people out there who know what a real truck is. Thanks for the
help.

It's a fly-by-wire system, meaning there is no throttle cable. Maybe you just have to get use to how it feels?
Or there's some other issue with the pedal sensor.
If it's still under warranty, I'd bring it back to the dealer.

Thanks for the input guys. Fly-by-wire .....I haven't even been
under the hood that long to see that. That could be it. I've never
driven a vehicle with that. As for the stumble.... thats the only word
I could think of. Although I stumble all the time !!! Getting old !!
