well, dissappointment in the wind, opened my step tubes today... turns out they're chrome... not a big deal. i had asked for black, but i like chrome. problem # 2 as i couldn't for the life of me figure out how to mount the durned things...they're for '04-'06 trucks which must have slightly different body panels underneath... guess its a phone call and hope for the best.

i hope the bars are the same so i can just swap the mounts. stupid thing is, if i have to start sending stuff around, it'll cost me more than the regular price of the item in the first place. guess i should have checked to begin with.

no... i specifically told them '08. there wasn't any ordering, it was talk to a guy behind the counter, he walks to the back, comes with the stuff... talked to one guy this morning, he says they should work... gotta call them again though... it just ain't gonna work without some major bending and that ain't happening to a new truck.

lol...i need to rewind and delete some posts... I'M A DUMMY!! turns out the directions are clear as mud. i set them down and figured it out myself. took about 1/2 hour and they're on. look ok, seem tough enough.
