just in a delima about weather or not to paint the flares same as the truck or leave them black... in my mind, black looks tough and wouldn't scratch and look ratty-paint would look good, but might wear if i use the truck as a truck... anyone??
Ive had just the smaller flares on a couple of trucks before, one painted and one not painted.
The painted ones look so much better, in my opinion, but the black ones still look good, and they arent half as much of a problem to keep scratches off of. The painted ones scratch if you look at them wrong, dont even try going through the bush with them!
Try them black and you can always change later - the look I really like on those F150's is the wheel flare and that lower piece (about a foot or so) painted the same color as the flares - that two tone look.
Ya know man, there was this place I called in Prince Albert, and they were selling tonneau covers for about 100 bucks cheaper then tiger automotive, and that was installed.
Cant remember the name of the place, but I thought I would mention it for the people that head through there sometimes.
During the week I usually can get a deal on Tiger`s stock. I have a friend that works in the whole sale end of Tiger called Grande West.
Paso1 also can get whole sale pricing on speed equipment and automotive accessories.
Who do you know at grande west? I used to get deals through them ALOT too, but then I started searching elsewhere for most of the things i was interested in, and found I could still get better deals by shopping around, and looking harder.
Actually i still have my body lift kit I bought from them, like 3 years ago. Too bad i cant find the receipt, id try my damndest to take it back haha.
