Thanks for all the advice guys !.. i dropped the tank and the screen was BLACK !.. i could barely see any light thru it,.. i dont even know how it idled...anyways,.. runs like a top now ( new air filter,fuel filter, oil change, cpsensor,fuel pump,) Thanks for the great info
did you end up doing the hutch mod or just replacing the screens??

The 7.3 is the last of the good engines. Nice and basic just like the TDI.
I have both as well and plan on running them until the doors fall off.

No i didnt do the hutch mod because i'm planning on doing the greasecar kit and that should handle about 90% of my fuel ...Will let everyone know how the conversion goes when i get time to install it.
