Hello, this is my first post to this forum and I need help with my power mirrors, I have a 2005 f-150 supercrew lariot, I bought the truck one month ago and my mirrors were working fine, and then they quit, I know that they are tied into my power seats and the memory for the seats but they both work fine no problem, I have had it into the shop 4 times and they can't figure it out either, they replaced the switch but that didn't work, fuses are all fine so what are we missing, is there something I am not doing or something I should try, please any help I would appreciate.

Your power mirrors are not tied into the memory seats, I have the same truck and the memory will only do the seats and the power pedals if you have them (most likely you do). You most likely have a basic electrical problem. Check the wiring between the the body and the door, check the orange/ light green ( power) and the black wires (ground). Most likely one of the broke from the door being opened and closed.

 

Thankyou for your response, I went out right away and looked quickly at the wireing from the door to the frame of the truck, and WOW there's alot of wires there but they all seemed fine, I will look further when I get some days off and see if I missed anything
