Hey new to this site. I just got a 05 F150 lariat and I am having problems with the power seat mirrors and pedals none of them work at all. I do have the memory seat feature. The passenger power seat works fine. I have checked all of the fuses and they were fine. Any idea what could be wrong. Thanks
with all 3 out, I'd look again at the fuses, or anything that controls all 3 items. aka, the common link. Could be a disconnected harness, or a cut wire.
I checked them twice. Thought it might be something that has to do with the memory feature since the seat mirrors and pedals are all controlled with the memory. Where is the computer that controls the memory and what wires can I check?
I got my power seat, mirrors and pedals to work today. I pulled fuses, etc. with no results a couple weeks ago. Today before starting the truck with the key in the ignition, I pushed and held the pedal button both up and down and the pedals started moving. I then tried the mirrors and driver's seat . . . everything works fine. Maybe the seat module had its memory scrambled, I don't know. But I didn't have to buy or replace anything to fix the non-working mirrors, driver's seat and pedals.
Mine quit working again. The fuses are fine. No power to the driver's seat, mirrors or pedals. Any idea what might be wrong? Loose wire or bad ground?
Thanks!
Seats, mirrors etc. are working again. There seems to an intermittant short in the wiring under the driver's side dash -- right where my 12EEE left foot likes to ride. The truck has an aftermarket remote start unit installed near there. It could be that something is flakey with the wiring in that area. But, for now, the power seats, mirrors and pedals are working again.
I have an 06 SCREW with power seatd and memory feature. All work. when I bought the truck new I thought the memory feature controlled these features as you referenced, however, in recent times I found that it did not and found nothing in the manual that would indicate that it should (let me know if you know otherwise). Point being that the memory feature is probably not the common link. Good luck.
mine doesnt work either did you find the wiring problem with yours???
My pedals, mirrors and seat have continued to work just fine. There was a short or grounding problem somewhere near my big left foot. It almost seemed to be under the carpet where the old-time floor dimmer switch used to be. I don't know where the problem was exactly, but it was in the left foot area on my truck.
I have the exact same problem with my 06 fx4 screw... i checked fuses but everything was good to go. if there is a wire i need to look for please tell me where it is at
I just fixed the problem found an orange wire with a green stripe on it that was sliced and at the splice it was broken so i put the wires back together and it worked.

I have since learned that the problem is under the carpet on the passenger's side of the truck. It seems that a splice was made at the factory that can create a short in the connection. I have not repaired mine yet -- the problem comes and goes -- but when I do, I will pull the carpet on the passenger's side and solder the two wires to make a good connection. As a test, you might try stomping your foot on the passenger's floorboard to see if the seat-mirrors, etc. become operable again. If so, you have found the short and know where to repair it.
Best of luck,
Chuck
