Hah! Know that veiw well. Lived on Old Byram just up from the track for a while.

I would have thought it was contra'd by then. But the wife informs me that all 4 lanes north ends some where down near Bouge'Chitto. I've heard 49 & 59to Meridian is/was a nightmare.

There are 48 or so shelters in MS according to Ms Public Broadcasting (Radio). Not near half of them full about dark.

To All: If someone you know is on the road, MPB is a good source for info.

The Contra Flow started this morning on I-55 and I-59, we got on the I-55 North at Amite going to Kentwood this afternoon, traffic was pretty heavy, then I looked over to my left and the cars in the south bound lane were going north too. it was weird seeing all those guys over there going the same way we were. LOL

 

How did you get back home? You must have taken the back roads. What's the weather doing down there now?
