Help??????
Does anybody know how to remove a factory ujoint from a 1 ton front axel? I am replacing my stub shafts. I have pictures if I could figure out how to paste them.

Same as any U joint, lube her up good, remove C clips if they're there. Rest one side on the ears, so the u joint has an opening below it. Then, I use a socket that's just bigger than the diameter of the u joint cap, and drive the other side down, off the u joint. A hammer works OK, but a press works better.

Thanks for all of the responeses. I am taking axel shafts to a parts store with a shop here in town and they said they would take them apart for me. The clip looks like it is part of the yoke. i was unable to get them out. The gaps overhang the opening and cannot by pounded thru.
