The day I bought my Cobra. Drove 6 hours straight from Moose Jaw to Alberta. Never turned the stereo on once, just the beautiful music coming from the exhaust. Now with the 4:10's the music is even sweeter!
I think I will go with the Magnaflow's, they seem to have good quality. It now might be spring before it happens though since I bought another sled and the wife may not be very "approving."
Mustangs alway did have the best sound though, even stock. Especially the 5.0's.
magnaflow has some nice stuff. i've been looking at their website trying to decide on a system for my '08. probably going to go with a single exit stainless system.
on a leased truck there are certain things they don't care about, certain things are frowned upon. they don't care about stereo's, exhaust, leveling kits, basically anything that can be returned to factory spec without too much trouble. yeah my truck is leased. funny enough, i did some math the other day, and if i buy my truck outright at the end of the lease, it'll have been cheaper to lease than to buy...
Prairie: i plan a catback system i can bolt on myself. single side exit i think...
Yeah its like that when the lease is up the buyout is cheap thats what my parents end up doing with the minivan we had lease was up ended up buying it out
hey sherm so much for bone stock and staying that way haha
You got lucky, most lease buyouts are pretty expensive. Thats the way they normally do it though, otherwise they dont make money off it it.
Last time I did some checking into leasing, it would have cost an extra 15ish grand on an f150, compared to buying one. That was a couple of years ago now too, when they could easily sell trucks.
Must be different now a days!
Thats also cool that you can mod away (to a point) I always like doing air and exhaust mods.
