The new B&M deep sump pan looks great but does not want to work with the crossmember. Has anyone installed one on a C6 in a 4X4 and have pics of how you made your modifications? Thanks.
do you want to install a deep sump couse it looks good or do you want more oil capacity? i would go with a stock depth and run the biggest trans cooler you could find mine is 14"x14" this added 1 qt and keeps the temp about 150 regurds joe
Cant speak for 4x4 but I have the TCI deep aluminum pan on my 4x2 C6 and it fits perfect with the cross member. Has a filter extension too. I also have a remote filter, temp gauge and cooler, makes a lot of difference. TCI Auto: C6 Cast Pan 2 Extra quarts
Your just going to have to mark it out and cut the crossmember where it needs to be cut out, then brace it up with some scrap metal of the same thickness. If you are using a stick welder, use 70 series rod.
