Where might the backup light switch be located i look in the steering colum and i couldnt find it there,
Im stump.
Can someone please help me out with this
Look for a white (should be anyway) housing attached to side of the transmission.
One test for the neutral safety switch/BU switch,is to attach 12Volts to the wire that turns them on.
Access to this is got through the grey connector on the firewall.
All you do is take a wire with alligator clips on it from the battery to the wire.
I think the wire is light green/yellow.
Don't know if this is relevant. I got a new transmission put in my 95 f-150, and the tranny guys forgot to put install a little pushrod that actuates the reverse light. You might want to check that. If all else fails, you can easily put a manual switch back to the reverse lights and turn them on and off from the cab when you need them.
