This morning, for the first time, I started hearing a buzzing noise (kind of like a gieger counter) from the steering column area under the dash.
Not awfully loud, it is virtually drowned out by engine and radio noises.
AND . . . I noticed it became intermittant as I went through the gears to put it in drive. And if I held the shifter in between gears, the noise stopped.
But then, when I turned on the turn signal, the noise went away completely. Left, right, didn't matter. And it went away when I turned on the hazzards.
What the???!!

okay, for me, that noise was found in my steering column, it was a loose plug right on top of the column, you need to take out 4 screws, then lightly split the column. It is right on top. Someone had busted the locking clip prior to it going to the show room floor. I ended up using tie wraps to keep the plug tight to itself.
It's related to a wiring harnesses inder the dash and around the steering column. Because I can wiggle wires/connectors under there and it will stop. The sound is eminateing from the passenger side undethe dash but seems accessable once the large access paanel is removed.
I did blow a couple fuses while wiggling wires/connectors. It is now intermittant, so I'm getting close!
