My power door lock switches don't work, they aren't the switches, I was just wondering if anybody else had that problem with the door locks on a 1992 XLT

So I am assuming (we all know what that does, LOL) that you checked the 12V coming into the switch and with the switch pushed you had 12V coming out of the switch (or ground depending on the solenoids). The only other thing is the actuator/solenoid. When you push the button is it doing anything?

Nevermind the previous owner took out the door lock actuators.

 

That would do it! If you still want to use the power locks there are various companys out there that sale the aftermarket actuators, or you can get them from FoMoCo.
