Power Lock Question!!

Power Lock Question!!
1992 F150XLT. The power door lock motor spins when I push the button, but the lock does not move. (drivers only) Key will unlock and passenger works fine. Is there a mechanical connection that's broken?

More than likely.. You will have to open up the door and see what is loose or broken.. I can't see it from here...

I'm not really sure why it would be making a sound like that. I thought the actuators on these trucks were solenoid type. If it does happen to be the motor type, then the actuator must have an internal break so that the motor is not turning the rotary motion into linear motion. I don't know if people can repair those or not. I'd check rockauto for a replacement.
