I actually hate that gauge. I think it cost me to much $
Wife named it the $5.00 dollar gauge when the truck is empty(no camper). Every time it moves when i take off from a stop light. She says "there goes five dollars" "do you have to take off so fast?" Well i have to see if it works !
When pulling the camper. WHHHUA ! Now it is called the Credit Card Gauge. 5 to 8psi at 65 pulling a 10k camper on flats set on cruise. "do you have to drive so fast?" I turned it so she don't see it now and she is mad at me. No more banana for me. Dang. The gauge causes me to much grief.
joey, you could make a home made leak tester and check things out for pretty cheap if you question it. Not long ago i asked the same question you did, after i checked for leaks and found some. But it didn't change matters much. And you can check for an up pipe exhaust leakage for free. Mine runs like yours. The only difference is you mods. Which i can't answer for if yours should read a higher boost or not. But looking at your mileage i think you are golden.
