Question Headliner sizes

Hi, I recently rescued some headliner moldings from a salvage yard. The first set is from a 1975 F-150 and the second from a 1978 F-350. These moldings are not the same as I thought they would be.

The 75 F150 moldings are bigger when assembled than the 78 F350 by about 1.5 inches or more all the way around. Also, the design is different. The 75 moldings are smooth and the 78 has an indentation. Does this sound right?

When I checked vendors that sell these, they list 73-79 headliners as all being the same. ???

The reaon I'm asking is that I want to sell these on ebay but need to know why the difference so I can list them accurately. I also have the original headliner from the 78 and a custom diamond pattern one from the 75 and the 75 is quite a bit larger in both directions.

Thanks for any help,

Bob

Without actually knowing the answer I would assume one set is aftermarket or previous owner do-it-yourselfer

They should all be the same size for whatever cab, regular, supercab, crewcab.

Thanks guys. I just figured this out. First truck was a 70, not a 75. So that explains the difference.
