Well, I finally done enough that I can see progress. Check out " Painted Frame " in my gallery. Tell me what you think. And thanks for all your help so far. Don't think you are off the hook yet, I'm just getting started.
I painted my backing plates today, too. Black. Stock black. But, seeing you guys with your bright trucks, keeps me wondering what my NEXT truck will be....I'd love to do one like that, just that this one (an F2!) ain't it!
Donnie I like the gun metal grey chassis. Though I am not to sure about the orange diff housing. Are you painting the 55 in the same colour, it would be interesting to see the truck in that colour.
Cheers Paul
Very sharp detail; I should ofknown it; cuase your Bronco is in a class all its own. Glad to see ya working on a new project; you probably don't remember me; but I parked my 65 f100 next to at the last Hooters show in Clarksville. (Look in my Gallery)
Looking forward to seeing the progress of your Effie.
Yes, That is the color the truck is going to be. It does look funny now. I tell people It looks like I Stole a rearend and put it under there. But hopfully it will all tie in someday.
Yea Mitch I do remember you. Glad to know someone this close to home on FTE. Hope to see you and your truck at the Dickson Show the 30th of this month.

Funny?? It looks absolutely great! And (ask anybody!) coming from me, that's the ultimate compliment. Again, I'm as stock as they come, but between you and Sam, and some others, the bright, dark trucks are really starting to grow on me! They are truly works of art. I don't see one in my future - this one will take it all out of me, I'm afraid, but they are sure nice to look at!

Sorry; Donnie won't beable to make that show; I got to work; but thanks for the reminder of it. If I get a chance i'll drive down your way & admire your progress.
