The weld in panel doesnt go to the top side of the tail gate, it ends where the body line is at the top edge of the tail lights. Is the weld in panel you got from MAR-K or someone else?
do you have a picture of it?
if you look at page 1 you can see how mine fit right out of the box after a failed attempt to mock it up the wrong way.
im glad you posted this i did not know that some one made this part for the tailgate. and seeing how yours came out i am defiantly going to get this combo.
you truck is turning out great. good fab work and creativity.
You are correct Shift1313, it is suppose to end at the line at the top of the tail lights. the one I got from MAR-K is at least an inch too short on the right side. The quality of thier product mudt be poorly controlled because the pictures you have posted look very good. Mine is a POS and I am very disappointed. I actually bought this because of your post.
Im sorry to hear that DarkWolf40 as mar-k has been the one company that stood out from the rest of the parts I put on this truck for me, both in quality and tech support. Every other part I have had trouble with in either quality or tech support or both. I hope you get it all sorted out.
