I have a 97 XLT, 3 dr., 60/40 and don't remember anything like that?!? How about something around you rear window, did you have a sliding rear glass, that leaked like heck (from the Factory) and had to replace it, took it out and never placed it back? It has the rounded off piece like around the rear side glass, or lower around the rear speaker? (I'm working hard for THIS six pack!!) It looks flat like a peice of paper, no bow or curve in it?
i have one too, lol funny thing is i held it up the other day and said WTF is this?
i took mine out of somewhere if i remember correctly.... like look under the dash on the passenger side in that corner.....orrrr ... i will check into it.... i figured this out once i think...
Ive never touched the rear glass before. I have a 1 piece glass. I did take the rear back rest off one time to install anchors for baby seats. Maybe it came off at that time? Thats the only area of the truck that I cannot easily check. It is a wierd shape and its big enoguh that it should be easily seen... Come on guys I dont want to throw it without knowing.... Maybe it comes from the the bottom corner of the window like Moore suggests...
ok i get the six pack lol i had the same thing happen, found that piece and i;m like what the hell, it goes on the armrest consoe on the brakets that hold it to the seat. its hard to explain exactly where but look all over the armrest it fits on that bracket somewhere good luck
How the heck do you know I'm not missing it just because I can't see it?! BOWDOG, don't be a hater! ha ha ha I just want to know WTH it is.... in case I WANT one!
FIREFIGHTER - you are correct!!! Its a plastic piece to cover the metal support under the center console. Its easy to see where it goes if you look from outside the truck on the passenger side behind the front seat. Thanks for solving this mystery. Please PM me your address, Id like to send you your prize. Thanks to the others for checking. I just couldnt bring myself to throwing it away....
It's the ... eh
