Oil in coolant ! again

Hi, I know there is many post on this but ..

Yesterday I did flush my coolant because of that black (Chocolate Milk) substances in the Degas bottle! It just dont smell oil at all but looks like it !
After dropping the whole coolant I can tell there is at least 5 or 6 quart of that stuff in the whole system floating on top! and Underneath RED Coolant! I did read RED collant is bad for those engine, it need to have the Motorcraft Premium Gold. Could it be only BAD coolant that did react ??

To get 5 or 6 quart of oil in the coolant it would have to draw 5 or 6 quart of oil from the engine ??? thats not the case ! I may say my truck did consume about 2 quart in 1 year (amsoil synthetic 15w40 marine diesel). Also my Degas bottle is not overfilling , its stay constant at the MIN line.

This week I am changing my engine oil ! For now I run water only in my cooling system to clean it as much I as can ! And try to find a solution before putting new coolant in it !

Could it be transmission oil ??

Many post are saying Oil Cooler, Injectors cups, .. but these would make the engine oil go down and the coolant level UP ???

Thanks for the help !

Sounds more like a headgasket problem, if you ask me...

I does not make sense that if it is the oil cooler that is leaking that the coolant is not over flowing and also that the oil is not low. The oil pressure is much greater than the coolant pressure so if the oil cooler had a leak it would be pumping oil into the coolant.
I would run it with the water, check it, then flush it real good and put the proper coolant into it and then see if the same thing is still happening. Head gaskets would be putting extra pressure into the cooling system causing the degas bottle to puke out. Once again if it were transmission fluid the cooling system would be over flowing. I have never seen the effects of red coolant in these engines so I do not know what the results are.

Check at this video ! http://www.flobbermotionvideo.com/Po...okeCoolant.avi

Like I said , yeah My engine oil is going down but I may say normal oil burning for a diesel pulling 15K race trailer . My Coolant level always stay the same ! Not puking or anything like this ! My Transmission fluid level is OK also !

I heard the coolant in those engine needs to be Motorcraft Premium Gold and nothing else ! The previous owner did put some RED coolant in it !

I think it is the incompatibility of those 2 coolant that made that oil like stuff!

I run water right now and flush that stuff each day !

It does not take a lot of oil to mix with the water and form the brown emulsification sludge. Also - these engines should not use any oil (IMHO).

about 1 quart per 2000 miles

My engine is also leaking from the back !!! I need to find that leak. I think there is a sensor somewhere that could cause that leaking !

I use about a half quart for every 2000 miles.
